How do I get tickets to an RNCDC performance?

When do you perform in the Chicago area?
River North Chicago Dance Company presents its annual engagement at Chicago’s Harris Theater for Music and Dance in winter/spring; the 2008 dates are February 15-16.

Are there CDs or DVDs available of your performances?
CDs of the original score to Underground Movements (choreographed by Artistic Director Frank Chaves, composed by Evan Solot, and featuring vocals by Chicago Children’s Choir) are available for purchase through the Merchandise page

RNCDC does not sell other CDs or any DVDs of performance footage. 

How do I donate to RNCDC?

Can I rent studio space from you?

Aspiring Dancers

When are auditions?
River North Chicago Dance Company generally holds auditions in Chicago and around the country in winter and spring.  Please visit the For Dancers page for a schedule of upcoming auditions.

How do I apprentice with the company?
Apprenticeships are generally offered to dancers through company auditions held in Chicago and around the country and through the RNCDC Summer Intensive program.

How do I take classes at RNCDC?  Does RNCDC have a school? 
RNCDC does not have a school, though we do offer workshops with our dancers and other master faculty throughout the year at our home studios and at various suburban locations.  For information on workshops, please visit the For Dancers page.

Daily company class is reserved for RNCDC company members and apprentices. 

What is the minimum age for your workshops?
The minimum age guidelines for RNCDC workshops are:

  • One Day Workshops: ages 12 and up, intermediate – pre-professional dancers
  • RivNoDance Weekend: ages 11-16, intermediate and advanced dancers
  • Summer Workshop: ages 13 and up, advanced, pre-professional, and professional dancers
  • Summer Intensive: pre-professional and professional dancers accepted by audition only, approximately 15 years and up

I’m coming to a workshop, how do I get to your studios?
Because not all RNCDC workshops are held at our studios in Chicago, be sure to confirm the location of the workshop you’re attending.
