Auditions

Auditions are for company positions, apprenticeships, as well as applicants for our College/Pro Intensive as part of our Summer Program.

The format of RNDC auditions generally consist of:

• Ballet combinations (no pointe)
• Jazz combinations
• RNDC Repertoire

Please note:

• Warm-up is not provided
• Cuts are made throughout the audition process
• Audition attendees must bring headshot + resume
• Pre-audition phone calls or emailed headshot + resume are not accepted
• RNDC is an equal-opportunity employer and encourages diversity

Video auditions are only accepted for our two Summer Intensives, the Teen Intensive and the College/Pro Intensive, accompanied by a completed Video Audition Application Form. To learn more, download the Video Audition Guidelines.

River North Dance Chicago is an internationally touring company that requires advanced jazz and ballet technique to execute the eclectic repertoire from renowned choreographers. For company positions, dancers receive salaried pay and benefits; ability to relocate to Chicago, coupled with extensive travel is required. Must be a citizen of the U.S. or hold a valid Green Card.

There are limited parking spots in the lot adjacent to the building ($5 for 4 hours) as well as many parking garages and metered street parking.
